Carnation Vase

Again for this card I used ‘A Touch of … Winter’ stamp set (ref: 0701086a). However, all the flower stamps are now available on their own this one is called‘A Touch of … Carnation (January) stamp (ref 0701079a).
How to make:
Attach a piece of Christmas backing paper to a 12.5cm x 19.5cm piece of white card.

Stamp the carnation flower head fifteen times onto red card  and the leaves ten times onto green card, using memento tuxedo black, cut out and shape five full flower heads, cut out and shape less of the flower head from the next five, and even less from the last five, edge all the flower heads with red stickles leave to dry, cut out five of the flower stems and all of the leaves, decoupage the flowers and add the stems leave to dry.

Cut out a vase from toning card shape and 3D glue to the bottom of the card

Arrange and glue the flowers and leaves in the vase on the card

Thread seven gold beads onto green wire twist the ends together to form rings make three.

Twist gold wire around a thin knitting needle to make a spiral make three, add the beads and spirals to the flowers.

Stamp "Happy Christmas" to a 21cm piece of red ribbon using black versacraft ink iron to set the ink.

Cut a 19cm x 19.5cm piece of acetate score 2cm in on the two longer sides using the strong red double sided tape, fold and attach the acetate over the front of the card to form a dome.

Attach the ribbon on an angle to the bottom of the acetate onto the back of the card, if you wish you can now attach this to an A5 card or just back it with a 12.5cm x19.5cm piece of card and it will stand up.
